Biography

About Me

My name is Jennifer J. Daly. I am a Charleston, SC photographer which is reflected in a lot of my photographs. In addition to a lot of lowcountry photography, I travel with my camera where ever I go. But I do seem drawn to so much of the beauty architecturally as well as in the landscape that surrounds me here in the Charleston area.

I have always had a love for photography and my interest has grown over the years. Several years ago, I enrolled in a year-long certification program at a local college. Since then, I have continued to take more photography classes over the years.

My photographs can also be found at Charleston Crafts Gallery at 161 Church Street in downtown Charleston and will soon be featured at Four Fields Gallery in Summerville, South Carolina.

I have won many awards over the years. My most recent award was a first place ribbon at the Shrimp and Jazz Festival in Little River, South Carolina. I have been featured as the sole exhibitor for the North Charleston City Gallery.

Several of my photographs were published in a beautiful Charleston coffee table book, “Charleston, SC And The Low Country.”

My Photography

My photos often bring out small details and different perspectives of our everyday lives.

Although I primarily shoot color with my Nikon digital camera I still love to shoot black and white with my Nikon film camera. But many of the color photographs that I still sell were shot with color slide film. I still love the richness slide film brings to the photograph but have given in to the convenience of digital for my color shots.

When you purchase a photograph of mine it is the highest compliment that can be paid to me as I feel each one has a part of me in them.

I sell my photographs either matted or matted and framed. The matting and backing board are acid-free to preserve the quality of the artwork for many years to come. All of the frames are solid wood with a choice of 3/4" or 1 1/2 " wide.
